NEW WEBSITE: ZONES BLOG
Created and launched the first-ever public blog for zones.com. Includes blog summary page, blog post pages, browse by topics, author info, comments, subscriptions, social sharing, pagination controls, tagging, blog post categories, content moderation tools, and more. Utilized the native module in WordPress, but expanded it greatly with custom web development to enhance the look and feel, as well as the set of tools available to site visitors and content managers.

Planning and Strategy: led discovery sessions and workshops to assess project value and priority.
Project Management: negotiated and managed all aspects of project scope, timeline, and budget with senior leadership.
User Experience (UX) Management: created all customer personas, customer journey maps, and sitemaps to drive stakeholder awareness and understanding of how Zones customers, brands, sales staff, and merchandisers would effectively utilize this new site.
Web Content Management: managed the content creation process with key stakeholders for all web copy, images, videos, and PDF downloads.
Project Accountability: reported regularly to the steering committee that drove alignment with Zones business units, senior leaders, brands, and major customers to adopt this new method of public communication.
People Management: led a team of two web designers, two web developers, and one web producer that configured, optimized, and extended the CMS for this site.
Staff Training: created all CMS documentation and led all content manager trainings and continuing ed. review sessions.
Web Analytics: created the account in Adobe Analytics and Adobe Dynamic Tag Manager, and configured all associated properties, views, initial custom reports, tags, and triggers.
Web Production: managed the overall site launch, domain name service (DNS), and security certificates.
Digital Marketing & Communications: managed the CPC display ads, email marketing, social media marketing.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO): created the associated properties in Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools (organic search results), as well as Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising (paid search engine marketing).
Task Management: prioritized all bug submissions, change orders, and enhancement requests to support the ongoing continuing site transformation, and then created and managed all associated web designer and web developer tasks and projects.
